Well, I just finished playing around with my template... LOL, wat fun! <:-D
I changed it several times before settling on what you see here at this very moment... I say "very moment" because now that I have aquired a taste for messing around with templates, I may change this thing again.... :-)

On Tuesday morning I commented that I hated the transitional stage of fall... the dead, dull and.... wul, just plain dead time when all the beauty of leaves changing colour and making their decent is gone, and the "go outside with only a sweater and you will be fine" weather is slowly getting replaced with biting breezes... The sun rarley shines, yet it is not cold or nasty enough outside to have the urge to curl up inside and hibernate, lol....
That very afternoon, the snow began it's soft downfall. Large fluffy white flakes steadily fell, first melting, then slowly covering everything... At first, it was just pretty... but by late afternoon, early evening, it had gotten so miserable that everybody started worrying about the driving conditions. After work, I got to drive in the nasty weather. (No, I have not yet got my licence... I have to practice 4 drivers ed) It was actually not so bad as I was led to believe... But I admit, I was sure glad when I didn't have to drive later that night! It got really bad then!! Instead (lol) I got to coach two Phys Ed classes.... improv!!! lol. To be honest, it was actually kinda fun...
When I got to Fiona's class, the first thing I saw when I walked in the door was Jameson's bleeding bottom lip... his teeth had sunk into it upon colliding with Jordan's head and a basketball... I tracked down an ice pack for him, and helped him show off the nasty swelling wound to everyone whenever people came up to him like "why are you sucking on an ice pack?"... (he was a bit embarrassed at all the attention I think... he said: "I feel like a museum piece or sumthin..." haha) Honestly it was a great wound!! *snickers* Some of the reactions the girls gave were so funny!!
I helped "coach Julie" (my gym teacher last year, and still is Fioan's this year) get her car opened (it had frozen shut!) after Fiona's gym class. :-) (There are some advantages to being relatively tall and somewhat rougher than the average female, LOL.... not very many, but SOME)
Winter hit us rather suddenly this year. <:-} There is more ice than snow at the moment, but the snow will catch up, no doubt, soon.
There is so much ice around.... honestly, it makes me want to grab my skates and go for a good long skate.... I could skate for hours... in fact, I usually do, LOL, whenever I get a chance to skate (which is rather infrequently, unfortunatley). Some people we know are really into speed skating and told me I'd be good at it, but I never pursued that... ;-) One year I was so desperate to go skating that I looked at the polished driveway, and decided to give it a whirl.... That was an absolute BLAST :-D I convinced my sister and friend to join me, and it was one of the funest new years eves ever in my young life... :-) I highly doubt many people have had the joy of standing at the top of a driveway and glide all the way down the hill on a set of blades... :-) I have a couple pictures to prove myself! :-)
Anyway, I really should remind myself that this is rather dull like the weather I was complaining about earlier....

Guess what. After washing dishes this afternoon, I noticed that I have a "curl" right in the middle of my forehead.... When it's humid, my hair will kinda go wonky and a tad wavy around my face... but this was the first time I noticed the "curl".... :-) hmmmm my sisters reaction was pretty funny! *snickers*

I am feeling pretty good about myself at this moment in time... and pretty stupid at the same time... LOL :-)
Today at work I used Adobe Photoshop a lot, which I absolutely adored.... it was so much fun! :-) And then just a minute ago my
sister got me to figure out putting a comment system on her blog! :-) Well, well, well.... :-)

I have a serious problem.
I sleep through alarms.
(eep! I dunno why I'm posting this!)
Yes, It's true... This morning my alarm clock went off, but (as usual) I slept through it. <:-o Sooooo my dad woke me up ten minutes before we had to go (he drives me to my work on his way to his). I was really tired and irritable (which makes me all the MORE cranky because i hate being grumpy... so then i get mad at myself and then even more unreasonable in general.... a viscious circle....) so I rushed around, got myself all ready to go, only to have dad drive away without me. I was just a second too slow for him. MAN, that made me frustrated. I fumed and stewed until my mom was ready, then I got to drive. I guess it was okay... I got in some extra driving... <:-\ (considering I'm supposed to practice a lot while in driver's ed it was all good i guess....)
Anyway, today was the kind of day I really shouldn't bother posting about... it's not worth the effort. <:-|
I basically worked, went to DE, then violin lesson... *yawn* sorry 4 wasting your time.... *snickers*

Well here we go again...
Thurday afternoon at work I sliced my "baby finger" (pinky). My sister probably would have flipped at the sight, but fortunately for me, Fiona does not work with me, LOL:-)
Friday afternoon we went to a friend's 16th birthday party. It was fun, and we had yummy food.... hehe :-) (have any of you noticed yet that I'm a food junkie?!?)
Last night I had the pleasure of going to a organ, panflute and piano concert in Edmonton. Laura was at the ticket table, so she was the first person we saw when we enterd the building. :-) It was really nice seeing the Hofstedes again! :-) I enjoyed my evening, and Fiona and I bought a couple CDs... the music's (as some of us may say) "loverly" :-)
Today I went to my first class of "driver's ed". It was good. Some of my classmates are wacky high-schoolers who can only talk about how many beers they drank at their last party, or how drunk or high so-an-so got.... it is soooooo pathetic. I feel like saying: "wat, you have no life!? good grief. how juevenile..." Seriously, they are going to get on my nerves; i just know it. <:-\ They're otherwise not BAD, just different.... <:-anyyyywayyyy...
I have high hopes for myself... I always want to do well, but I have this problem with lack of confidence.... and another problem is when I don't do something as well as I wanted to, then I get down on myself.... <:-P It's annoying... really. stop laughing. <:-)

mmmmmmmmm..... I could hardly believe my eyes... there they were, staring back at me, calling my name.... LOL
After work today I discovered Orange-flavoured Aero bars, and Kit-kats and Smarties at Shoppers Drug Mart! I have not had "orange" Smarties for years... my friend has not gone and brought me some from England for a long time now. :-( I yielded to temptation and bought some Smarties and an "orange" Aero... yummy. I still think mint+ chocolate is my fave combo, but hey, chocolate is chocolate... mmmm hahaha :-)

After church my family usually reads from the Bible. We are currently reading Phillipians. Anyway, when we finished, and were chatting about various personalities (choleric, phlegmatic, melancholy, sanguine...) someone said something that stuck my funny bone... then my sister gaped at me and declared: "You laugh like Howard Keel!!!!" and proceeded to laugh her head off at me! I laugh like Howard Keel?! no way. In all the old movies I've seen with him in them, his laughs are these big, deep infectious laughs that seem to start as a chuckle deep down, then bubble up and out in to this great laugh... Just the thought of my laugh resembling H.K.'s made me neerly keel over (haha, forgive me, lol....) and laugh all the more and thus my sister did as well... Now I just know it's going to be another joke around here... one of those dumb jokes sisters share (and usually only they understand, lol)... *chuckles* :-)
Praise the Lord for His many blessings! I pray everyone has a very blessed and happy thanksgiving! :-)

Today I didn't have to go to work, so I tidied my room and desk, and got started on catching up on my art lessons. I have gotten so behind and I feel really bad about it. :-( It was sure nice to get back at it... :-)
This evening I babysat, and all went well. (these people's dog "lady" is ANYTHING but a "ladylike" animal!!! You think she's gonna attack ya and rip you to shreds... ohhh.... nasty... but tonight she seemed to accept me.... *relief*...) Though it was a good day,I am tired. <:-}
I'm ready to hit the hay...
