My world has been spinning rather quickly the past while and blogging has not exactly been on the top of my list of priorities....
Some things that have been keeping me busy:
Work (so what else is new? ;-) *chuckles* I enjoy it, so whatever, its all good...)
Catching up with my "best friend" who almost completely exited my life when I was 16... (trust me, this is not something that can be rushed! -insert long story that I absolutely will not blog....-)
Church, Sunday School, YAS, etc
Violin lessons (so ok, i'm really just learning, but it's an interesting change from piano...)
Trying to keep in touch with friends who are out of the country by sending e-mail...
Various dabblings in art and literature... (by both myself and others... heh heh)
More work ;-)
Sleep
Food
Televised Figure Skating World Championships (on and off, enough to know who won, where my faves placed etc.... hahaha...)
A couple enjoyable movies...
More food and sleep... *chuckles*
Hester and Amy visited with us when they came down to Stony Plain and area almost a week ago. I really enjoyed having them over! :-D
On Saturday Dave and Dan re-aranged a lot of things at work (primarily so Dave wont have to keep bumping his head on certain items.... LOL) So When I arrived this past Monday morning, I was quite pleasantly suprised. Of course, I had to do my part in the spring cleaning and organizing, which I liked a lot (i love sorting things out)...
Yesterday was +23 C out in the country and 26 degrees C in edmonton. Twas very pleasant. In the evening Mike and I messed around with our templates and such and changed the colours on our blogs... several times....(and muchy thanx to Steve for the link!!) and then we got fiona in on the act, too. *chuckles* we really have too much fun... ;-)
This morning when I got up and thrust open the drapes, It was snowing. Yes, you read that correctly: SNOW. hahahahaha I love it. The perfect combo... snow and summer weather... joy, it's fun. (let's just ignore the pathetic state that driveway is in... heh heh)
Before work this morn, I finally ripped off my toenail! It was bruised from that basketball tourney I played in way back the last weekend in January... Talk about a
pain. *sigh* But I must admit it can be fun to gross my sister out with! *mwahahahah*
Today I was left in charge at work for almost the entire day. eeep. :-D I am pleased to report I did
just fine, hahahah (in case any of you are thinkin "oo scary stuff... wat disastrous event occurred as a result to that!?" *chuckles*)
Tonight I looked at my blog and shook my head at the lack of posts... hehe so here's the result... u just read it.
man, i have to get better at this.... one day... one day.... i think i can.. . i will... :-) ;-)

Fine, powder-like snow has been dusting the world around me non-stop since last evening. The sun still manages to peer through the wispy,white, cloudy sky and cast a soft light into the otherwise nippy world of the people to-ing and fro-ing in and out of buildings and cars. A slight breeze creates gentle movement in the trees, flags, powerlines... setting a sort of pattern to the chaotic rush of motors and bodies.
For working at a desk job, it is a perfect day. I say this because it is cold enough out-of-doors to make it seem comfortable inside, and yet it is pleasant enough outside to spread the pleasantness indoors... all in all, it makes having a "stuck inside" job bearable. heh heh... (People who know me best realize that sitting behind a desk the entire day is not exactly my most desired pastime in the universe... I would much rather be outside, doing something physically active.... as much as i love to learn and mess around with computers and things, i do miss being able to just run around.... Growing up is brutal. :-\ *chuckles*)
Della came in this afternoon, and so she is using the computer i usually use. Dan is out, so i am using his computer, though I cannot work on any of my projects on this machine... *sigh* Life goes on. <:-} I thought I may as well post something... so this is what you got, *snickers* ;-)
