lumière de monde
Light of the world
You stepped down into darkness
Opened my eyes let me see
Beauty that made
This heart adores You
Hope of a life spent with You
So here I am to worship
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You're my God
And You're altogether lovely
Altogether worthy
Altogether wonderful to me
King of all days
Oh so highly exalted
Glorious in heaven above
Humbly You came
To the earth You created
All for love's sake became poor
And I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross
And I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross

Methinks I'm rather eclectic, a puzzle. I can't describe myself. My personality is broad, what some have called "A Hub"... :-) *chuckles*
This is a fab quote:
"My clothes keep my various selves buttoned up together, and enable all these otherwise irreconcilable aggregates of psychological phenomena to pass thenselves off as one person."
-Logan Pearsall Smith

I have not written a story in a long time.
I miss writing.
I miss writing in my journal, on my blog and working on stories.
Remarkable that I, who used to have a desperate hate-thing for writing, would actually admit to missing it now...

An elder Cherokee was teaching his grandchildren about life. He said to them, "A fight is going on inside me... it is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.
One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego...
The other stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, freindship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith...
This same fight is going on inside you, and inside every other person, too."
The grandchildren thought about this for a minute and then one asked the elderly man, "Which wolf will win, grandfather?"
The old Cherokee simply replied...
"The one you feed."

I took fiona and Genessa to a AJHL hockey game on the 5th. The Spruce Grove
Saints were playing the Grande Prairie
Storm. These guys like to hit hard and make lots of shots - makes for an exciting game. :-D Not to mention the reasonable ticket prices... *chuckle* I actually was given my tickets again this year. Dan is probably among the best bosses in the world (imho). :-D
We picked Genessa up from work, then went and ordered Panago Pizza for supper. We shopped a bit while we waited for the food then buzzed over to the Grant Fuhr Area for the game. I casually toted the pizza boxes under my arm as I passed through the entrance, and the only reaction I got was an older gentleman checking tickets at the door chuckling and asking if i'd brought enough for everyone. LOL It was so much fun to sit in the best seats in the place and eat hot pizza etc.... :-D
This year the Storm had issues in the defence department in the first period, though they tightened up in the second and were awesome in the third. The Saints wupped the 8-1!!! ooooohh boy it was a pretty fun game....
