BLUES are motivated by INTIMACY, seek opportunities

Yesterday was my dad's 60th birthday anniversary. How lovely that we are all sick... (not!) including he and mom, who have it the worst. I personally think they have pneomonia, but they are stubborn that they do not.
We did our best to have fun, but dad really was not well, so he just wanted to lie on the couch. Dinner plans were scrapped and Fiona made mushroom soup and clam chowder instead. Yummy for not-eager tummies. The 4th episode of Bonanza seemed in order, so we enjoyed it with some mint hot chocolate and Fiona's scrumpdiddlyumptious tasting -and looking!- cake.
I am totally wiped, as Verna (my-coworker) has been in the hospital since the weekend (a surgery), and I have been doing her work as well as my own, in this, our second most busy time of year and I am not well on top of that... But I stayed up last night to do all the cleanup, thus missing out on talking to Steve and all that. Last night my parents were coughing so much, it was keeping us all awake. I tossed til about 1:13, then marched down the hall and asked if i could get something for them. Dad whispered, "Buckleys". Thus came trek downstairs for the cough remedy. Mom actually took some (wonders!!!) and within 5 minutes all was still. Wow.... I am so tired..... I suppose mom has done things liek that for me.... I am not complaining.... honest. :-p
Today Verna is home, but will not be able to work til next monday at the earliest. She called me this morning all excited. A couple weeks ago I'd heard that EZRock104.9 Edmonton's Soft Rock was having a "Win what you Wish" contest and I had pried for her to wish something and I'd entered for her. She was all hyped this morning, because she had recieved a call, that she had won!!!!! *chuckles* me so pleased. X-D Needless to say, i am listening to EZ Rock today... just to hear Verna on!!! :-D
Today is off to a interesting start. Lots of projects need finishing, co-workers on the radio because i entered then in contests, blogging in the morning, and Hebrew class in the evening.... yoiks i'd better get busy!!!
