lumière de monde
Light of the world
You stepped down into darkness
Opened my eyes let me see
Beauty that made
This heart adores You
Hope of a life spent with You
So here I am to worship
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You're my God
And You're altogether lovely
Altogether worthy
Altogether wonderful to me
King of all days
Oh so highly exalted
Glorious in heaven above
Humbly You came
To the earth You created
All for love's sake became poor
And I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross
And I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross

Methinks I'm rather eclectic, a puzzle. I can't describe myself. My personality is broad, what some have called "A Hub"... :-) *chuckles*
This is a fab quote:
"My clothes keep my various selves buttoned up together, and enable all these otherwise irreconcilable aggregates of psychological phenomena to pass thenselves off as one person."

Yesterday I only had to work for an hour, and today I had off, due to a job cancellation. This was a good thing for me, as I have been craving some time off, but have not had the heart to ask for it during this busy season. Many errands were run, appointments made and accomplished, and though the list is still long, a bit of pressure has been removed. I even baked a cake last night! *w00T* Lunch with PhylishaAmy and shopping with Bethany were like *blingbling* for my days off and much enjoyed! :-) Thanks girls! :-D

Time has certainly flown since i last wrote a "real" post. Life has kept me on steadily busy schedule of late, and must confess blogging has not been a priority. I seem to have inherited my mom's tendancies for being involved with many things, from home to volunteering, to work, friends, fasion, etc.... Let's just say i'm never bored! Some days I wish there was more for "fueling" me, and less of spreading Alison out, but that's the way it goes i guess...Steve and I are in the process of purchasing the condo we live in, and all the meetings and paperwork we need to wade through is time-consuming and a bit stressful. We are now just waiting to sign the final papers at the lawyers, and we should be owners by Dec.1! *yay* :-D Grange Prairie has several feet of snow everywhere, and the city has not been keeping up with clearing the roads, thus causing major mayhem and irate drivers. One day my car got stuck 4 times!!! Ridiculous. Time for those winter tires... All-season's are just not cuttin' it up here. (but of course, i bought a sport's car, so i have to wait for the tires to be ordered... yes... the luxury.. hehe) The positive side of the snow, however, is that it makes my inner child eager for sledding, skating, snowboarding, hot chocolate, fuzzy sweaters and movie nights, Christmas to arrive... *sigh*
We bought an artificial tree, a string of lights, and a set of LED lights for outside the other night. The lights look very nice outside (this is the earliest I've ever put up Christmas decorations!!) and the tree is all fluffed in the basement. Steve was so excited to set it up I couldn't say no. :-D We will probably take it apart to move it upstairs and decorate it later on (maybe in DEC???!!! heheh). I am looking forward to getting my box of Christmas decorations from my parent's basement... so many memories! :-D I think it would be nice to get one really special ornament for me and Steve, as our 1st Christmas as a married couple... maybe sappy, but I still think it'd be fun. I always liked looking at my mom's things that dad gave her when they were going out (like a cute valentines card or somesuch) or things they got when they were first married.... Funny the things that impact you when you're a child.....
Like Chistmas...
and celebrating God coming into the world as a little baby....
to grow as a child and then die for all our sins.... WOW....
