lumière de monde
Light of the world
You stepped down into darkness
Opened my eyes let me see
Beauty that made
This heart adores You
Hope of a life spent with You
So here I am to worship
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You're my God
And You're altogether lovely
Altogether worthy
Altogether wonderful to me
King of all days
Oh so highly exalted
Glorious in heaven above
Humbly You came
To the earth You created
All for love's sake became poor
And I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross
And I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross

Methinks I'm rather eclectic, a puzzle. I can't describe myself. My personality is broad, what some have called "A Hub"... :-) *chuckles*
This is a fab quote:
"My clothes keep my various selves buttoned up together, and enable all these otherwise irreconcilable aggregates of psychological phenomena to pass thenselves off as one person."

Time certainly has a way of flying when life is busy. This is a brief attempt at an update post. :-)In early December Steve and I bought our corner desk at IKEA with gift cards (from Hester and Tym and Fiona - thanks guys!!). It did not take long to out it together and fill up the shelves with books and CDs! We love it. It has files on the left and a whiteboard/magnet board on the right - very handy. :-)
Here is Steve looking chuffed. Notice he is a Calgary Flames fan. ;-P *chuckles*Steve taught me to play Crib this past month. At first I was not overly excited, but once we got going, it was suprisingly fun, and fairly easy. When we were halfway through, Steve realized we were palying with a deck of cards that was only 9s-aces! We had a good laugh about that. We taught Aaron and Yvonne to play it at New Years, too. :-) (only we used that regular deck, and it was more difficult!)After visiting at Neil's house (with his whole family minus one sister! and Aaron) on New Years Eve, Steve and I met Jon & Maylea to go see the fireworks at Musgosipi PArk (i think i mis-spelled that!!). It was quite nice, despite the biting chill i nthe air. Lots of families with kids were there, tobogganing, and it was amusing to hear the shreiks as they rocketed down the hill as colourful explosions went off overheard and echoing around, making us all feel like we were in the bottom of a bowl. :-) Emily, Julie and Jessica came up for a visit a few weekends ago. We went snowboarding at NightHawk and had a good time! I think we all felt more confident on the boards by the time we went home. :-) The girls and I went on a quick shopping trip while we waited for the ordered Chinese food to arrive. Steve stayed home and fiddled with his LINUX installation on his gaming computer. It was a fun weekend!
Julie and Jessica Trying on some Sweater-Ts at our condo. :-D Lookin' good girls!Steve insisted on growing the beard, then one day I could smell his shaving gel. I was hopeful, but he only shaved a bit, and left a goatee-thing. I didn't like it at first, but then I got used to it.
I think he was pleased.Last week Steve suprised me and shaved it all off!! I almost was upset. *chuckles* Here's a picture of him makign saucy kissy-faces at me. :-D
On Saturday, we lazed about all morning, just because it was the first time in AGES that we had nothing "to do" on a Saturday. :-) Then we went to Burger king for lunch and did a little shopping. Steve and I were greatly tempted by the collectors box set for the new World of Warcraft..... but we resisted, being good little people. :-D *chuckels* Today I stayed home from work, as I'm not feeling so great. I hope to do some artwork and all the laundry today. I think those are realistic goals. :-) Until next time....:-D

Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-chaaanges...
Happy New Year! 2006 was a full, eventful year. I only wish I had been a better journalist. *sigh* Many happy events and great memories.... Perhaps my lonely stack of neglected notebooks will fill up one of these days.... At least I can say that my wedding memories are safely recorded in a special book. ;-P *chuckles*
I am too tired to write a proper post at the moment, but thought I'd pass on this tidbit for all those bloggers who have links that will be affected: Steve's blog address has changed slightly this new year. The address is now
http://eclecticalstorm.blogspot.com though as of yet it has the same apearence.
As for blogs, ladies, you should check out
Proverbs31Woman , a blog where 'Thea is sending out challenges for us to strive to be women as descirbed in Provebs chapter 31. :-)
God bless you in the coming months!
Toodelz!
