lumière de monde
Light of the world
You stepped down into darkness
Opened my eyes let me see
Beauty that made
This heart adores You
Hope of a life spent with You
So here I am to worship
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You're my God
And You're altogether lovely
Altogether worthy
Altogether wonderful to me
King of all days
Oh so highly exalted
Glorious in heaven above
Humbly You came
To the earth You created
All for love's sake became poor
And I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross
And I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross

Methinks I'm rather eclectic, a puzzle. I can't describe myself. My personality is broad, what some have called "A Hub"... :-) *chuckles*
This is a fab quote:
"My clothes keep my various selves buttoned up together, and enable all these otherwise irreconcilable aggregates of psychological phenomena to pass thenselves off as one person."

TRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS SYMBOLS
CHRISTMAS TREE
The pure green color of the stately fir tree remains green all year round, depicting the everlasting hope of mankind. All the needles point heavenward, making it a symbol of man's thoughts turning toward heaven.
STAR
The star was the heavenly sign of promises long ago. God promised a Savior for the world, and the star was the sign of fulfillment of His promise, and wise men still seek after the Lord today!
CANDLE
The candle symbolizes that Christ is the light of the world, and when we see this great light we are reminded of He who displaces the darkness.
WREATH
The wreath symbolizes the true nature of love. Real love never ceases. Love is one continuous round of affection. It is also a symbol of the everlasting life we have in the Lord Jesus Christ.

SANTA CLAUSE, GIFTS, MAGI
St. Nicholas (Santa Clause) reminds us of the generosity and good will we feel during the month of December and the joy we have in giving and receiving in love. Do not forget that St. Nicholas was but a humble servant of the One that is the centre of our Christmas celebrations and did acts of kindness to those less fortunate.
God so loved the world that HE gave HIS only begotten SON..." Thanks be to God for his unspeakable GIFT
The wise men sought the Lord and bowed before the Holy BABE and presented HIM with gold, frankincense and myrrh. We should always give gifts in the same spirit of the wise men."

HOLLY & IVY
The Holly and Ivy plants represent immortality & Fruitfulness. Holly also represents the crown of thorns worn by our Savior. The red holly berries remind us of the blood shed by Christ.
CANDY CANE
The candy cane represents the good shepherds' crook. The crook on the staff helps to bring back strayed sheep to the flock. The red stripes on the candy cane and shape of a "J" remind us of the blood Jesus poured out for us.
ANGELS
The angels heralded in the glorious news of the Savior's birth. The angels sang 'Glory to God in the highest, on earth peace and good will toward men.
BELL
As the lost sheep are guided to safety by the sound of the bell, it should ring mankind to the fold. The bell symbolizes guidance and return.
