lumière de monde
Light of the world
You stepped down into darkness
Opened my eyes let me see
Beauty that made
This heart adores You
Hope of a life spent with You
So here I am to worship
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You're my God
And You're altogether lovely
Altogether worthy
Altogether wonderful to me
King of all days
Oh so highly exalted
Glorious in heaven above
Humbly You came
To the earth You created
All for love's sake became poor
And I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross
And I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross

On the 1st day of Christmas my true love gave to me...

A Partridge in a Pear Tree
The partridge in a pear tree is Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, whose birthday we celebrate on December 25, the first day of Christmas. In the song, Christ is symbolically presented as a mother partridge that feigns injury to decoy predators from her helpless nestlings, recalling the expression of Christ's sadness over the fate of Jerusalem: "Jerusalem! Jerusalem! How often would I have sheltered you under my wings, as a hen does her chicks, but you would not have it so . . . ." (Luke 13:34)

Do “ghosts” exist?
If by “ghosts” you mean “sprit beings,” then yes
If by “ghosts” you mean disembodied spirits of humans who died and are still walking on the earth, then the answer is
___NO___!
The Bible negates the idea of human spirits after death remaining on earth to “haunt” the living
Hebrews 9:27_ - “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment”
Every person on earth, after death goes straight to __judgment__
The result of judgment is either _heaven__ for the believer or __hell__ for the unbeliever. There
is no “in between”
Believers go to __heaven_____
o 2 Corinthians 5:6-8, Philippians 1:23
Unbelievers go to __hell____
o Matthew 25:46, Luke 16:19-31
o So then why do we hear of these “hauntings”? What is going on?
There are spiritual beings that are in this world
___angels______ and ____demons______
The ones in the “hauntings” are likely __demons____
One account in the bible seems to be similar to a “haunting”
o Mark 5:1-20
What about “aliens” and “monster” sightings?
This could also be caused by __demons____!
Demons love to deceive us
o People tend to attribute strange phenomenon to anything other than what the Bible
says
2 Corinthians 11:14-15 - And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of
light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of
righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
It could also be our __imaginations_____!
Sometimes I think people can give demons “too much glory”
They see something out of the ordinary and immediately say, “it was a demon”
